by adding a new dimension to our plates. these new 3D inserts are made from a solid block of forged t6061 aerospace grade aluminum made in the USA & exclusively for our tactical force wheels precisely machine to match the design of the wheel the 5 step machining process is extremely demanding and cubersome, but the finished wheel is well worth the extra effort with these new tactical force series, you can dominate the street

Concept

At American Force Wheels we strive to visualize new ways to make a statement with each wheel design. The concept phase of our wheel development starts off from an abstract idea... whether that's a form that the movement makes, geometric shapes, a vehicle's design cues, or other symbols. After sketching out ideas we refine the concept until we find a form that makes for a bold wheel and a sturdy look on any vehicle. The next phase is the design modeling.

The Brand

American Force Wheels defines its wheels as a unique aesthetic, as a market innovator, and proudly…as a trend setter. American Force Wheels are undeniably a leader in wheels for Trucks, SUV, JEEPS and now UTV's. Each unique wheel design, comes with a definitive signature branding lip that has set the bench mark for competitors and imitators alike.

Bold Design

The tough bold look is synonymous with American Force, differentiating our deep lip, deep dish and bold thick design apart from the rest. The bold design is more than a wheel, it's a philosophy that's carefully matched to your vehicle and your character, making the American Force Wheel's lifestyle extra special.

Design Concepts

The concept process begins with the desire to make a visual statement. Initial conceptsstart from an array of inspiration, drawing from abstract ideas, movement, geometric shapes and symbols. With careful consideration each idea is sketched out, then refined, until something unique and definitive stands out.

DESIGN & ENGINEERING

The design phase at American Force Wheels is where we bring a concept to life. Using the latest software, we refine the concept to make sure we accurately define the shape to properly align with the parameters for each of our forged aluminum profiles. Through measurements and geometry we create a three dimensional model to display the design intent before testing its structural integrity in the engineering phase.

In the engineering phase at American Force Wheels we make sure to test the structural integrity of each wheel design. It's a critical stage in making sure that the design's visual intent doesn't subtract from the possible load capacity. Through this element analysis a design may be refined to compensate for any possible points. Once the wheel passes verification, the design is processed into the programming stage.

Design Modeling

Design Modeling

The concept begins its final refinement process. Using the latest modeling software, we model each design according to verified parameters and adjust each concept to our multiple size offering. With each size up, the design variates but never strays far from its original line.

Rendering

Rendering

The visual aesthetic of a design must be fully released through color and material rendering. The American Force signature product offering is a highly polished aluminum finish. Each design is rendered in our signature finish and styled in multiple color variations to help bring the design to life.

Measurements

Measurements

The right fitment is crucial. We collect data on an array of vehicles to ensure we have the accurate details for weight ratings and distribution. We precisely check the measurements of bolt patterns, offsets and caliper clearances ensure the perfect bold look.

Programming

Programming

Our programmers analyze each wheel's CAD model using the latest software to determine the most efficient and feasible way to machine the wheels. Each design is programmed for machining using computer-aided manufacturing software to guide each machine's precision tools accurately, consistently and with the most efficiency.

MACHINING

Here at American Force Wheels we use the best CNC machines in the business. These machines are a process used in the manufacturing sector which involves a sophisticated program to control machine tools.

Precision Machining with State of the Art Equipment

Depending on the wheel specifics we have a variety of machine sizes and types, including a lathe, to mill out each wheel. This manufacturing process truly represents what it means to have custom work. Each wheel is made to order per the customer's specifications.

Material

Material

Manufacturing the top wheels in the industry for Trucks, SUV, JEEPS and UTV's start with nothing but the best quality raw materials. We use a high caliber grade of aluminum called 6061-T6 and each wheel is a proprietary Forged process to guarantee a consistency in strength. American Force Wheels backs its material quality up with a life time warranty*.

CNC Milling

CNC Milling

Here at American Force Wheels we use the best CNC machines in the business. These machines are a process used in the manufacturing sector which involves a sophisticated program to control machine tools. Depending on the wheel specifications, we have a variety of machine sizes and types. The lathed blank is milled per customer's desired design while the center bore, bolt pattern and fitment are made to fit their vehicle.

Lathe Turning

Lathe Turning

The first step in the manufacturing of ours wheels after forging is lathe turning. The forged blank wheel is lathe-turned to create the desired diameter, width and offset. This creates the perfect wheel blank which is then put into the milling process.

FINISHING & QUALITY CONTROL

It's important to make sure a wheel that's leaving an American Force Wheels CNC machine is clean and free of any aluminum shavings. To achieve this, we have a custom wheel washing machine that utilizes a secret process to make sure each wheel comes out free of any particles before they can enter a finishing stage. An aspect that makes American Force Wheels special is the ability to customize your wheels to an incredibly high degree. As a standard we offer each design as a high polish, a process that will outlast any chrome.

American Force Wheels prides itself on quality from day one of the forging process. As each order is a specific custom placement our quality control department has an important job to do. We review each order checking to see if each process has been followed correctly and to verify that there are no defects in machining, true roundness and finishing process.

Polishing

Polishing

An aspect that makes American Force Wheels special is the ability to customize your wheels to an incredibly high degree. As a standard we offer each design as a high polished raw aluminum finish, a process that will outlast any chrome. We take our polishing very seriously; polishing blanks before machine, after machining and finishing each surface utilizing hand tools guided by skilled craftsmen.

Powder Coating

Powder Coating

If a customer wishes to make an even bolder statement, powder coating is always the way to go. With any color to choose from, a wheel can be customized to be powder coated once or have multiples stages. The beauty is that it's up to the customer to determine if that's a before or after machining process for different looks.

Runout

Runout

American Force Wheels prides itself on quality from day one of the forging process. The quality control team meticulously inspects several critical wheel points. Runout, a measurement for the wheel's perfect roundness is first and foremost. This consistency enables us to verify the hub and center bore are in roundness and perfect alignment.

Fitment

Fitment

Each wheel is custom built per the customer's vehicle. The quality control team makes sure to check the order specifications for accuracy to the customer's vehicle. This verification allows for accuracy in the build process to make sure we have the correct fitment for center bore, counter sink and bolt pattern.

Customer Finish Specifications

Customer Finish Specifications

Before the order can proceed to shipping, our quality control team makes sure each wheel is finished per the customers specifications. If the customer has ordered our High Polished finish, we make sure to verify it's up to our highest standards before proceeding. Our meticulous process makes sure to inspect every finish, no matter if it's our High Polish, custom high gloss or matte powder coating as American Force Wheels delivers only the highest grade product in the industry.

CUSTOMER CONNECTION

The customer connection is one of the most important aspects of American Force Wheels. To enhance the customer experience, we developed a very personal experience for each customer through the Customer Connection App. Our Customer Connection process was designed to give buyers more control by engaging them throughout the buying process, beginning at the dealer level and continuing through shipping and fulfillment.

We understand that one of the frustrations of having custom wheels made, opposed to buying mass produced off-the-rack wheels, is the lead time. Unfortunately, this is unavoidable as each wheel is made specifically for each customer. This was the spawn of what is now known as the C.C.A. The thought behind it was to connect with the customer along the way so that they would be updated on the process.
